Pro day is an exciting time for all college athletes looking to take their game to the next level. With NFL scouts in attendance, each player gets the opportunity to showcase their skills. Our friends at 5-Star Day Cafe contacted us to shoot some photos for their new website. A mecca for nostalgic favorites such as Fried Green Tomatoes, Cornbread and Cheerwine, this place is right up my alley... You know, where childhood favorites live forever, and the attitude embraces our southern traditions like a big back-slapping hug from your favorite crazy uncle. I am so happy to have been asked to work on this project and hope you can feel the love that is put in each of their dishes.

Some girls ask for chocolates and flowers, while others seek samurai swords and vengeance. I enjoy the thought of photographing them all. While my subject took a bit of courage to contain, I was very pleased to walk away with images that I am very proud of.
